NM All Stars

General Information

  • The North Middlesex All Star team is a combination of players and coaches from both the Townsend/Ashby and Pepperell baseball programs.
  • Each team will have 2 coaches from Townsend/Ashby and 2 coaches from Pepperell. Head coaches will be determined by TAYBS & PYB leadership.
  • Players do not need to be 50/50 between Townsend/Ashby & Pepperell. The top players in each age group will be selected.
  • During tryouts, the coaches will rank the best players at each age level.
  • TAYBS & PYB leadership will finalize rosters based on coaches' rankings and determine if age groups are going to be combined or if players will be allowed to play up in age brackets.
  • Each team will roster 10 players, and 2 alternates.
  • Play time is not guaranteed for these teams. This is an All-Star tournament, using a 9-man lineup, and the best players will get the most (if not all) of the playing time.
  • Players cannot be on more than 1 team, and by default will be placed in their age-appropriate team.
  • Depending on the number of players who tryout, we might have to merge some levels into a single team.
  • This tryout is open to all players aged 7-12. We are planning on forming teams at the 8u, 9u, 10u, 11u and 12u levels.
  • Ages are determined by how old your child was on May 1.
  • For players to be eligible they must have played in at least 75% of their regular season games with either TAYBS or PYB.
  • All players should arrive to tryouts ready for full practice.
  • Just because you were on a team last year does not mean you are guaranteed a spot on a team this year.
  • It is extremely important that you look at the dates of the different tournaments and ensure that you can commit. Our teams have made it to the regional tournament multiple times in the past.
  • Parents & players may not request to have their child on a specific
  • There will NOT be any additional tryout dates.
